Your contribution to something big

Taking responsibility: Your FE simulations will shape Cockpit products in their topology and structural design, enhance optimal utilization and ensure the fulfillment of special requirements. The functional variety of our products seek Your creativity, you will not get bored; Most of them are in the car interior, visible, touchable. Your simulations drive the development from acquisitions right up to SOP, indicate design decisions, to do things the first time right. You will also have the chance to get to know/try Yourself in CFD simulations while You cooperate with our Thermal Simulation Colleagues.

Shaping future products: In the intensively changing world of Cockpit Technologies you will have the chance to simulate the products of tomorrow. You will work on display products, interior monitoring systems, connectivity units not only for cars, but also for trucks and two wheelers. Since simulation is an universal tool, you can be sure being pioneer if a new product family comes.

Reliable contribution: With analyzing the results of your simulations (static, dynamic, implicit, explicit) and offering recommendations for the product development team, you provide a real value add to the development process. Moreover being part of an international development team you can experience real diversity and different perspectives, while steering the product design with your results and decisions.

Creating something new: With continuous simulation method development you enhance efficiency and keep yourself trained in the cutting-edge simulation technologies.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you

►MSc. in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering, physics or comparable.

►In depth knowledge in mechanics (statics, dynamics) and in the theory of Finite Element Method.

►Experience in FE simulation software (Abaqus advantage) at the level of minimum 4 years, experience with simulation tasks and projects. Experience in product development as simulation engineer.

►Technical orientation, keen on in depth problem solving, ability to transform results to design recommendations and decisions. Systematic, logical, structured personality with good communication skills.

►Ability to work independently within an international project team and create value for product designs.

►Very good English language knowledge and presentation skills, ability to explain technical results for other development domains.

Advantages

►Programming skills (e.g.: Python) is an advantage

►Hyper, Moldflow software experience

►Experience with Matlab (or similar)
