Our Fortune 500 client seeks a Polymer Physicist to join their team in a hybrid (remote/onsite) contract role in Bedford, MA.

Responsibilities

Simulate compression of various types of membrane filters

Simplify current models of filter compression

Qualifications

Bachelors in polymer physics/mathematics (prefer Master?s graduate or PhD student)

Deep knowledge and hands on experience of polymer creep including simulations, experimentation, execution & set-up

Demonstrated ability on modeling the behavior of polymer materials

Understanding of viscoelasticity of polymers

Background in mathematics and demonstrated experience in data filtering and regression

Experience with the simulation of pleat compression

Experience with numerical methods of differential equation and integration

Coding skills with either C#, Java, or C++

Benefits

Pay range is up to $80K annually ($35 to $40 an hour, commensurate with experience)
