Job Description

About our department

► We develop the next generation of automotive electronics from our ideas and our 15 years’ experience on previous generations

► We provide validated thermal models to Bosch worldwide developed products to achieve the right thermal design of the ECU

► We advance state-of-the-art in thermal measurements and verification methods by combining measurements / simulation / modelling know-how

► Systematical approach and system view is not just a chance but also a must in our department

► We are responsible for every detail of our products including thermal design throughout the complete product lifecycle

Your contribution to something big

► Perform thermal simulations

► Build up 3D ECU models of power electronics

► Work out ECU thermal optimization proposals

► Perform and evaluate thermal measurements with T3Ster (Thermal Transient Tester)

► Perform comparison between simulations and T3Ster measurements, work out conclusions and proposals

► Build up calibrated FEM component models

► Method development: research of simulation / measurement methods

► Method automation: simulation tools

► Continuous improvement of methods and processes


What distinguishes you

► University degree in Physics, Mechanical Engineering or similar

► Experience with thermal simulation tools (preferred: Ansys, FloEFD)

► Experience with CAD tools is beneficial

► Fluent English communication

► Willingness to work in a multidisciplinary team
